The rapidly spreading cases are a result of community members continuing to gather without safety measures in place, therefore such non-essential gatherings must cease immediately. In effect until March 4, 2022.

Non-residents identified as a high-risk exposure contact or are experiencing symptoms are prohibited from travelling to Moose Factory. Non-residents that arrive via Wetum Road are not permitted to remain in Moose Factory Island but must travel on to their own community.

Curfew is now 12 am to 6 am (exemptions apply). Visiting and public gatherings are permitted but safety measures must be followed. Non-residents must provide identification upon request.
