Amendments to Pandemic By-Law

Curfew has been removed. Amendments are marked in yellow in the PDF linked below, and are as follows:

WHEREAS 88% of the population of Moose Factory Island aged 18 and over is now vaccinated, and 87% of those aged 12 to 17 are also vaccinated. However, a vaccine for those aged 11 and under has not yet been developed.

Emergency Preventative Measures

10. Funerals in Moose Factory shall be coordinated with the Acting Community Liaison Worker at Moose Cree First Nation or with Marilyn McLeod, Director of Health Services at MoCreebec.

13. An Isolation Centre is available and will be considered on a case by case basis.

Temporary Effectiveness

25. As per Council Motion # 2021-07-208 passed on October 28, 2021, this bylaw will remain in force for an additional twenty six (26) days to November 26, 2021, unless that time period is extended or abridged by resolution of Council.
