A precautionary boil water advisory has been issued for the areas of Niskaway to Lagoon Road, including Mahekun Street, as indicated in our post from earlier today.
Update for October 5th, 2023
The boil water advisory remains in effect and will remain in effect until sample results indicate that the water is safe to consume. Results will not be available until Saturday at the earliest. The water storage tank levels remain high. There will not be a scheduled decrease this evening.
Due to hydrant work on Tuesday, August 29th, you may notice cloudy or discoloured water from your taps. Water safety is unaffected; run your taps for a few minutes until water runs clear.
Water pressure will once again be decreased overnight on July 6th from 8 pm to 7 am. We are asking community members to conserve water as much as possible during this time.
There will be work with hydrants this Wednesday, March 28th which may stir up particles in the distribution system. As a result, residents could experience discoloured and/or cloudy water conditions and may also experience a temporary drop in water pressure.
