Moose Cree Dictionary

The third edition of the Moose Cree Dictionary will be available soon. This dictionary contains over 22,000 words on over 800 pages.

In the future, we hope to add audio recordings and a language application as part of a larger language revitalization project.

Children’s Books

A total of four Cree language children’s books have been published, including translations of two Robert Munsch books.

Cultural Lodge

A 40′ x 20′ cultural lodge is being constructed up the Moose River. The building is open concept and features a large common area and kitchen. Additional cabins will be built to serve as lodging for people using the camp for cultural programs.

Gathering of our People

The Gathering of our People is an annual event held in August. The gathering features cultural activities, food, and workshops, community breakfasts and feasts, and evening entertainment with performers ranging from local musicians to national and international artists.
