Yesterday, Moose Cree First Nation served its legal defence against claims made by the Grand Council of Crees of Quebec asserting Aboriginal rights and title over much of the Moose Cree Homeland in Ontario.
Moose Cree members living in Moosonee, Timmins, and Kapuskasing will have an opportunity to participate in the membership meeting through Zoom on May 25th.

The next Regular Membership Meeting will be held on Thursday, May 25th, 2023 at the TCJMC Community Hall in Moose Factory., beginning with dinner at 6 pm.
Hydro One has put plans in place to ensure that the significant issues faced last week do not occur again during tomorrow's planned outage, scheduled from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.
Hydro One has committed that they will work closely with MCFN on all future planned outages and establish a protocol which sets out the steps to be taken in a timely and organized manner should future power outages take longer than anticipated.
