Important work involving the upgrading and installation of water works system infrastructure is currently underway in the community.
January 31, 2024
Due to required hydrant repairs, the water has been shut off from Niskaway to Lagoon Road, including Muhekun Street. It will most likely be off for the day. This affects the arena and complex. As a result, the Moose Cree First Nation main office is closed for the day.

The two major leaks were located and repaired. The reservoir is now refilling and water service will return to normal at approximately 7:00 am on Saturday, October 2, 2021.

Moose Factory residents may experience water discolouration caused from naturally occurring sediment in the distribution system being stirred up from using the fire pumps during the night.
