Niska 1 service begins on June 19th and will operate at high-tide only. Dredging will continue this summer beginning June 26th.

Interim ferry service begins Tuesday, June 14th. Innes Transport is providing service (1 vehicle per trip).
May 20, 2022
Dredging of the channel between Moosonee and Moose Factory is required and will begin in early June with partial service expected to begin June 15th or earlier.

Niska 1 ferry not operating on September 30th. Ferry will be operating on Saturdays in October, and day-to-day from October 15th to the end of season.

Due to extremely low water levels, several trips have already been cancelled this season. Passengers are encouraged to plan ahead when booking the ferry.

The Niska 1 is now in service Monday to Friday! Effective Thursday, June 10, 2021 @ 1 PM.

The Niska 1 ferry is scheduled to launch in the first or second week of June 2021.
