POSTPONED: Moose Cree's Lands & Resources department is holding information sessions in North Bay and Sudbury regarding land use planning within our homelands.
APPLICATION DEADLINE EXTENDED. The Moose Cree Lands & Resources department is seeking community members to form a working group for the Moose Cree Homelands Plan on Land Use Planning 2023 – 2025.
Earlier this fall, the University of Manitoba attempted to deploy a small research tripod at the mouth of the Moose River, just off of Ship Sands Island. Unfortunately, the tripod is missing.
Recording now available. Online Zoom information session on Thursday, July 27th @ 1 pm. Presenters from Environment and Climate Change Canada will be discussing the surveys being done in the James Bay range to study caribou and predator populations as well as future study plans for these species.
Applicants that did not apply for helicopter assistance, but applied for gas and/or ONR assistance can submit their receipts to the Interim Harvesters Subsidy Program Coordinator after finishing the harvest.
