After receiving the required bacteriological test results, we are pleased to inform you that the boil water advisory has been lifted.

Water pressure is scheduled to be decreased overnight on January 12th. Decreasing the pressure in the evening and overnight is the only current method operators have to try and recoup the losses incurred during the day and bring storage water up to safer levels.

A precautionary 'Boil Water Advisory' is being issued effective immediately due to the watermain/hydrant leak this morning that caused a loss of water throughout the island.

The community ice road between Moose Factory and Moosonee (McLeod Hill to McCauley Hill) is now open for light duty vehicles (up to 10 tons).
