The Nishnawbe Aski Police Service responded to a call during the early morning hours of September 11th. The incident involved the suspected use of firearms, and the NAPS officers have now secured the area. The investigation remains ongoing.
Chief & Council will be hosting a community meeting to discuss strategies on how to address the drug problem in Moose Factory. All residents of Moose Factory Island are welcome to attend this meeting on Saturday, September 16th, 2023.

Moose Cree First Nation offices will close at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 1st for the Labour Day long weekend and will reopen on Tuesday, September 5th at 8:30 am.
