This information session will provide an update on the Community Protection Order (CPO) By-Law, which will allow MCFN to banish its own members involved in illegal drug and alcohol activity in the community. Friday, March 12th, 2021 @ 12:00 pm.

Statement from Chief Mervin Cheechoo. I have been informed by the Porcupine Health Unit and Weeneebayko Area Health Authority that there are three new confirmed case of COVID-19 in Moose Factory Island and one new confirmed case in Moosonee.
The next Zoom information session will be on the Trust Fund Agreement. This is the fund that is being set up to save some of the Self-Generated Revenue received each year for future generations. Tuesday, March 2nd, 2021 @ 6:00 pm.
Effective 9 pm on Monday, February 22, 2021 Moose Factory Island will be on lockdown until March 12, 2021. Vehicle traffic to Moose Factory Island will be restricted.
With the increase of COVID-19 cases within the Town of Moosonee, the community of Moose Factory Island will be going into Lockdown effective February 22nd, 2021 at 9:00 pm.
