It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Raymond Butterfly, Director of Facilities, who peacefully departed from this world in the early morning hours of February 24, 2024. Raymond’s presence illuminated our organization since April of 2008, and his legacy will forever be cherished.
Raymond devoted almost 17 years of unwavering dedication to our organization. As Director of Facilities, he exemplified exceptional leadership skills, guiding his team with wisdom, integrity, and compassion. His ability to inspire and motivate others was unparalleled, fostering an environment of collaboration and excellence.
Raymond’s contributions to our organization were immeasurable. He spearheaded numerous initiatives that propelled our organization forward, demonstrating a keen insight and innovative spirit. His strategic vision and determination played a pivotal role in our success, leaving an indelible mark on our collective journey.
Beyond his professional achievements, Raymond will be remembered for his kindness, compassion and love. He possessed a rare ability to empathize with others, offering support and encouragement whenever needed. His genuine concern for the well-being of his colleagues touched the lives of all who had the privilege of working alongside him.
Raymond Butterfly leaves behind a legacy of leadership, integrity, and compassion that will continue to inspire us. Though he may no longer walk among us, his spirit will forever remain in the halls of our organization and in the hearts of those who had the honour of knowing him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Raymond’s family and loved ones during this difficult time. May they find comfort in the cherished memories of a remarkable individual whose presence enriched the lives of many.
