All residents and non-residents of Moose Factory must provide identification upon request at the screening checkpoints.
May 5, 2021
The barge landing (McLeod’s Hill) and the public docks at the hospital shall be the only entrance points to Moose Factory Island until further notice. All non-residents must continue to stop at the screening checkpoint.

With the increase of COVID-19 cases within the Town of Moosonee, the community of Moose Factory Island will be going into Lockdown effective February 22nd, 2021 at 9:00 pm.

All spiritual services including traditional ceremonies and churches in Moose Factory Island are exempted from this By-law, as long as safety measures approved by the PEOT are implemented.
