Moose Cree First Nation and Transport Canada are embarking on a collaborative research project that will study changing conditions on the Moose River basin and how it impacts navigation.
Hydro One has committed that they will work closely with MCFN on all future planned outages and establish a protocol which sets out the steps to be taken in a timely and organized manner should future power outages take longer than anticipated.
The Land-Use Plan will be a community process to plan for the way the land will be used in the future. We are looking for community members to start the process by participating in focus groups this March.
Moose Cree First Nation offices in Moose Factory will be closed Wednesday, March 1st due to a scheduled power outage.
Power will be out from 10 am to 3 pm.
