March 18, 2021COVID-19 Funding (Basic Needs)
March 19, 2021A second information session about the Community Protection Order (CPO) By-Law will be held on Thursday, March 25th @ 6 pm. This By-Law will allow MCFN to banish its own members involved in illegal drug and alcohol activity in the community.
The Membership previously directed Chief & Council, most recently at the Membership meeting on October 29, 2019, to take the steps necessary to banish MCFN members that are involved in the illegal alcohol and drugs activity in the community.
We have been working on a Community Protection Order (CPO) By-Law. The CPO By-Law will allow MCFN to legally banish its own members.
We invite MCFN membership to join this Zoom information session for an update on the work being done on the CPO By-Law.
If you are interested in participating or if you need assistance with setting up Zoom on your computer, tablet or smartphone, please contact Sara Wesley, Executive Administrative Assistant at or 705-288-1217.
Moose Cree First Nation is unable to have in-person meetings due to the pandemic, but we need to share updates and information with the Membership. We will be holding online information sessions by Zoom on a number of topics until it is safe to have meetings again.
Note – these information sessions are not official Membership meetings.
