I have been informed by the Porcupine Health Unit and Weeneebayko Area Health Authority that there are four (4) additional confirmed case of COVID-19 in Moose Factory Island as of today. There are now seven (7) confirmed cases and one (1) resolved case of COVID-19 in Moose Factory Island.
If you have not been contacted by nurses from the Moose Factory Health Centre it means that it is unlikely that you have been in close contact with the individuals with the confirmed cases.
Please do your part in preventing a spread of COVID-19 in Moose Factory by following these safety recommendations:
We will continue to monitor this situation in the coming days. I urge everyone to remain calm and to strictly follow the above recommendations.
