Public Safety Notice

In an attempt to address the loose dog situation in our community, the following directive will be implemented immediately:

ALL loose dogs will be captured and owners will be responsible to pay the release fee to claim their pet.

Failure to do so will result in Moose Cree First Nation sending these dogs south for rehoming if the services are available, or utilizing any other alternative measures to ensure the safety of the community.

We strongly recommend that all pet owners tie up your dogs immediately or keep them inside.
