In 2021 J.Otis attended Algonquin college in Ottawa to study the fundamentals of music recording and production as well as the legal business and operational structures of the music industry.

J.Otis then created 67 Records and fully registered his business in 2021, assisting aspiring artists and artists who do not have access to proper personnel or equipment find and receive funding to properly cover album production costs.
