Fire Hydrant Flushing Notice

Thursday, October 10, 2019

The Moose Factory Water Plant team will be conducting annual testing on hydrants today. This will require hydrants to be flushed.

During flushing, residents could experience discoloured and/or cloudy water conditions and you may experience temporary drop in water pressure. If you experience discolouration or dirt in your water, please let your water run a few minutes until it clears.

We regret any inconvenience this may cause, and remind residents that this procedure is necessary to ensure a safe and secure drinking water supply.

If you continue to have a problem or have questions, please contact the Water Treatment Plant at (705) 658-2034.

Kind regards,
Ontario Clean Water Agency
