By-Law #1609 has been extended to November 25th.

Amendments:

WHEREAS, Ontario is now in the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic with new cases rising above one thousand per day as of November 9, 2020.

WHEREAS Chief & Council and the PEOT support the continued restriction of non-essential activities within the entire community of Moose Factory Island to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and in consideration of the high number of new cases which are much higher than new infection rates in spring 2020.

As per Council Motion #2020-08-266 passed on November 10, 2020, this bylaw will remain in force for an additional sixteen (16) days to November 25, 2020, unless that time period is extended or abridged by resolution of Council.
