By-Law #1609 has been extended to January 13, 2021

Amendments:

WHEREAS, Ontario is now in the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic with close to 2,000 new cases per day as of December 9, 2020.

4. All gatherings in the community remain banned until further notice, unless deemed essential by the PEOT.

9. The attendance at funerals shall not exceed 30% of the capacity of the venue in which the funeral is being held. The family shall decide which immediate/extended family members and friends attend.

14. Non-residents of Moose Factory that must travel to Moose Factory to perform an essential service will be permitted to do so only with the permission of the Moose Factory Pandemic Operations Team, with the exception of those that have a modified quarantine and access to rapid testing and Personal Protective Equipment.

18. All schools and day cares in Moose Factory Island are exempted from this By-law, as long as safety measures approved by the PEOT are implemented.

19. All churches in Moose Factory Island are exempted from this By-law, as long as safety measures approved by the PEOT are implemented.

20. All sports and recreation programming in Moose Factory Island are exempted from this By-law, as long as safety measures approved by the PEOT are implemented.

24. As per Council Motion #2020-09-323 passed on December 9, 2020, this bylaw will remain in force for an additional thirty-five (35) days to January 13, 2021, unless that time period is extended or abridged by resolution of Council.
