Wetum Road 2023 Update #2

An estimated opening date is not available at this time.

North end – Crews have reached North French River (km 60) and have crossed over, flooding of ice continues, currently 19” of ice. Work continues between South Bluff (km 40) and North French due to water coming up on the road and crossings.

South end – Crews have crossed the Abitibi River (km 30) and continue to flood/widen the road to Big Cedar (km 50) crossing.
