- Wednesday, January 18 from 9:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M.
- Thursday, January 19 from 9:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M.
The flows leaving the plant have almost returned to normal. The reservoir levels are much better but need to build up about 1 to 1.5 metres more. Because the plant is running at full capacity in ideal conditions, the reservoirs will be a bit slow to build up.
Decreasing will assist with that, allowing the reservoir to increase by about 0.5 metres a day, and reduce the fear of reservoirs levels becoming critically low.

Update: Friday, January 13, 2023
Area Affected: Moose Factory Island
The water pressure is scheduled to be decreased on:
Friday, January 13 from 9:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M.
With the leak found and isolated yesterday, flows leaving the plant have almost returned to normal. The reservoir levels are better but need to build up more. Because the plant is running at full capacity in ideal conditions, the reservoirs will be a bit slow to build up and decreasing will assist with that and reduce the fear of reservoirs levels becoming critically low. With the current levels, a fire in the community would bring the reservoir levels critically low.
Concerns for critically low levels:
- A loss of storage water will mean an island-wide Boil Water Advisory
- Every community member MUST consider that this water is also used for firefighting. Without sufficient storage, the safety of the entire community is at risk
Please continue to be conscientious in your water use and conserve where possible:
For flooding rinks, please use the options offered by Public Works.
