The water pressure is scheduled to be decreased on Monday, December 13 from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
The need to decrease the water will be reassessed Tuesday, December 14. The issues at the water plant affecting the ability to make water have been resolved; however the reservoir is still quite low. Water quality has not been affected.
UPDATE: December 10, 2021
The water pressure is scheduled to be decreased on:
- Friday, December 10 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Saturday, December 11 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Sunday, December 12 from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
The issues at the water plant affecting the ability to make water have been resolved; however the reservoir is still quite low.
The Water Plant Operators have determined that water conservation will again be needed at this time. To ensure sufficient water reserves for both the community and firefighting purposes, the pressure will need to be decreased to allow the reservoir levels to build up. Please minimize water use during this time.
Please note that the issues have not affected the water quality, only the ability to make water.
UPDATE: December 8, 2021
A decrease in water pressure will begin this evening (December 8th) from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM and again the evening of Thursday, December 9 from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
The need to decrease the water will be reassessed Friday, December 10.
The issues at the water plant affecting the ability to make water have been resolved; however the reservoir is still quite low. The decrease will allow time for the reservoirs to build up.

A decrease in water pressure will begin this evening from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
The water plant has experienced issues and has been unable to make water faster than it is being used, which is resulting in a depleted reservoir. The need to decrease the water will be reassessed tomorrow.
The Water Plant Operators have determined that water conservation will again be needed at this time. To ensure sufficient water reserves for both the community and firefighting purposes, the pressure will need to be decreased beginning later today to allow the reservoir levels to build up.
Please note that the issues have not affected the water quality, only the ability to make water.
We need your support conserving water because it is a crucial part of the strategy to keep this temporary situation as short as possible for the safety of consumers and fire protection.
