Moose Factory Island

Please be advised that the water plant is currently experiencing higher than normal flows which may cause the reservoirs to deplete. Until it has been determined if there are leaks and repairs can be made, please minimize bleeding, and delay flooding of rinks, etc. until the levels are back to normal. This is an important step in reducing the demands on the current water supply. Water pressure will remain unaffected at this time.

We need your support conserving water because it is a crucial part of the strategy to keep this temporary situation as short as possible for the safety of consumers and fire protection.

If you suspect a leak or detect a water leak, please call either:

Moose Factory Water Treatment Plant: 705 658 2034
Moose Cree First Nation Public Works: 705 658 4619

Updates will be posted as they become available. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.

Kind regards,
Ontario Clean Water Agency
