Community Notice from Public Works
Water Leaks & Ice Rinks
The water treatment plant has issued several water decrease notices to ensure adequate water storage within its reservoir. Several water leaks have been located within the community and repairs will begin within the next few days. Please report any water leaks to Public Works.
We ask that community members refrain from flooding their outdoor rinks until all leaks have been repaired.
Public Works and Innes Construction are available to assist community members with their outdoor rinks this winter. A water truck filled with pond water is available. Pond water is the best option for flooding rinks and will limit the loss of drinking water during this time.
Please contact the Public Works department prior to making any outdoor rinks on your property so that a list of names and locations can be properly documented. 705-658-4200.
Thank you,
Acting Director of Public Works
