Merry Christmas from Moose Cree First Nation

We as a community have suffered a number of losses over the past few weeks and months, and with all that we have been experiencing, the Chief & Council wish to reaffirm the importance of family togetherness, particularly during the Christmas season. This was part of the reason that Chief & Council made the decision to close the office for three days over Christmas week on December 23rd, 24th and 27th.

We encourage MCFN employees, and all community members, to spend time with family and friends and to engage in healthy activities during the holiday season, including going out on the land, as this is one of the most beneficial activities for us as Moose Cree people.

Please note that essential services to the Membership will be maintained during the office closure through an on-call system.

Regular hours will resume at 8:30 am on Monday, December 30th and we look forward to welcoming our employees back to work rested and refreshed and ready to provide services to our Membership!

Chief & Council wish you and yours an enjoyable, safe holiday season and all the best in 2020!
