Wachay,

My name is Rose Blackned and I have been hired as the Community Liaison Worker with Moose Cree First Nation. I am responsible for the enhancement and development of the Funeral Assistance Program and the Family Emergency Fund for our MCFN membership as per policies and procedures.

  • To guide and assist membership in planning and preparations of funeral arrangements in the death of a loved one
  • To assist membership with the application process in the event of a family emergency
  • Under the Family Emergency Fund policy, emergency is defined as death in the family and/or a life- threatening illness where a family member is in critical condition.

If you are a registered Moose Cree First Nation member and you have been designated as the family representative (by your family) and require assistance under the Funeral Assistance Program or the Family Emergency Fund, you can call me or come to the MCFN office and the main reception will direct you accordingly. Meegwetch.
