Moose Cree First Nation’s General Election is being held in June of this year for the offices of Chief, Deputy Chief, Councillors, Elder Councillor, and Youth Councillor.

Band Council Resolution

2022/23-1759

WHEREAS Moose Cree First Nation holds their General Election every four (4) years as stated in Section 1.1 of the Moose Cree First Nation Election Regulations, (5th amendment approved by Moose Cree Citizens, February 21, 2012), and.

WHEREAS the Council of Moose Cree First Nation term expires on July 2, 2023, and;

WHEREAS it is necessary under Section 2.2 of the Moose Cree First Nation Election Regulations to appoint a Chief Electoral Officer;

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of Moose Cree First Nation appoints Brittany Weistche-Rickard as the Chief Electoral Officer, and;

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the Chief Electoral Officer shall appoint Deputy Electoral Officers as stated in Section 2.2 (c) of the Moose Cree First Nation Election Regulations.

Deadline to request a mail-in ballot: May 31, 2023 Ballot must be received by 6:00 p.m. (local time)
