The Jerry Cans and Sierra Noble set to perform at the 2019 Gathering of our People!

Organizers are pleased to announce the initial performance line up for the 2019 Gathering of our People. This much anticipated yearly festival will take place from July 31st to August 2nd, 2019.

The Jerry Cans – Thursday, August 2nd

The Jerry Cans perform on Thursday, August 1st!

The Jerry Cans create music inspired by their hometown of Iqaluit, Nunavut, and life in the Canadian Arctic. With a unique mix of traditional Inuit throat singing and roots-rock sung in the Indigenous language of Inuktitut, The Jerry Cans are a distinctly Northern sound.

Sierra Noble – Friday, August 3rd

Sierra Noble on stage on Friday, August 2nd!

From Winnipeg, Manitoba, Sierra Noble has been a part of the Canadian music scene since a very young age, beginning her touring career when she was only 14 years old as a solo old-time fiddle player. Her evolution as an artist brought her to singing and songwriting, and her latest album, “City of Ghosts” was released in the fall of 2016.

A full schedule of performers and activities will be available in the coming weeks. Stay tuned to the Moose Cree website or Facebook page for the latest updates.
