Family Fishing Derby

Free registration on March 25th

Check-In
Moose Factory barge landing between 7 am to 9 am

Check-Out
Moose Factory barge landing between 5 pm to 7 pm

Prizes will be awarded!

Female and Male Categories:

  • Youth 9 years and under
  • Youth 10 to 14 years
  • Youth 15 to 18 years
  • Adult 19 to 30 years
  • Adult 31 to 40 years
  • Adult 41 to 50 years
  • Adult 51 years & over

Family Entry Category

  • Consists of one fish each from a parent/guardian and youth
  • These fish can also be entered into the other categories
  • Combined weight of the fish will added together

Fish category for the derby is walleye. Other categories for draws are trout, pike and carp.

Fish can be caught anywhere in the Moose River and its tributaries.

Any participant found under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be disqualified.

Fish found with stuffed weight will be disqualified.

This event is brought to you by the Band Representation Team and the John R Delaney Youth Centre.
