COME TO DETOUR LAKE MINE DAY!

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 2023

Agnico Eagle Mines and the Moose Cree First Nation Environmental Team invite you to join us at one of the sessions below to learn more about Detour Lake Mine and where we are going together!

Elders Tea – 9:00 AM

Emergency Preparedness and Response (EPR) Building

  • Elders are invited to attend for a tea and conversation.
  • Rides will be provided for those who need transportation.

Youth Session – 11:00 AM

Delores D. Echum Composite School

  • Students can participate in conversations related to the Detour Lake Mine and be voice for future generations.
  • Food will be provided!  

Community Feast and Information Session – 4:00 PM

Emergency Preparedness and Response (EPR) Building

  • We welcome you to join us to learn more about current operations at the Detour Lake Mine.
  • There will also be information tables for environment, employment and training, and business opportunities to provide individuals with the chance for one-on-one conversations. 
  • Roast beef dinner is on the menu.

Giveaways and prizes will be part of each event, so be sure to come out!
