The Moose Cree Survivor’s Working Circle expresses condolences for the loss of Michael (Mike) Cachagee Senior.

Mike was our esteemed colleague, friend, and cousin who strongly advocated for residential school survivors. He believed that all residential school initiatives should be survivor-led. In negotiating the residential school agreement, he ensured that cultural and traditional supports were available for survivors and their families to support mental health.

The Moose Cree Survivor’s Working Circle appreciates your dedication to supporting Survivors, families, and communities. We will miss you. Rest in Peace.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and community.
