The Selling of Drugs and Harbouring of Traffickers in MCFN homes
May 2, 2024Expressing Support to Cree Nation of Waskaganish
May 2, 2024The Child and Family Wellbeing Department is excited to announce the acquisition of a new office building located in Cochrane, ON. We are thankful that we were able to obtain funds through an application through section 41 of the Canadian Human Right Tribunal to purchase this building, along with others. Our move in date will be closer to the end of 2024, but we are excited to share this great news with our members.
This will help in our delivery of our programs and services for our members involved with any child and family services agencies in the south.
Our roles are to advocate and ensure that our children and youth move towards knowing their families and our territory. The Child and Family Wellbeing program is funded through submissions with Indigenous Services Canada, but Moose Cree First Nation supports these submissions to ensure that the wellbeing of our children and youth come home to our families, but most importantly come to know their roots.
