Canoe Trip for Moose Cree Youth

An amazing opportunity for Moose Cree youth! Apply to participate in a fully-guided 8-day canoe trip this August 13th – 20th, 2024!

Rediscover our traditional canoe routes, learn new skills, and reconnect with our homeland!

Safety Certifications

• Attend safety training outside Ottawa May 28-June 1,2024 to earn your Paddle Canada and Wilderness FirstAid certifications.

Workshops

• In-person and virtual workshops will provide youth the opportunity to connect with Moose Cree Elders, Knowledge Holders, scientists and other specialists to connect to culture and learn new skills.

Canoe Trip

• August 13-20, 2024 youth will participate in a fully-guided 8-day canoe trip plus additional post-trip activities to reconnect to the Moose Cree Homeland.
