Job Location: Moose Factory, ON


Position Summary:

Under the general supervision of the Executive Director/Associate Executive Director, the Director of Public Works will be responsible for Capital planning, municipal development and operations, and major capital projects.



  1. Post-secondary degree/diploma in Architectural/Civil/Structural Engineering and/or five (5) years related experience in project management/construction field.
  2. Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
  3. Knowledge in Financial Management.
  4. Knowledge in tendering and contract administration.
  5. Knowledge in the field of cost estimating.
  6. Knowledge in blueprints and the National Building Code.
  7. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  8. Ability to communicate in the Cree language preferred.
  9. G-Class Driver’s License is mandatory.


Salary: $97,090.50 – $122,967.00


Duration: Permanent with 3 months probation
