Road Closure / Water Shut-Off Notice

Centre Road, between Bay Street and Clarke Street, will be closed beginning Wednesday, September 4^th due to sewer repairs. Work is expected to last at least one week.

As a precautionary measure, the watermain in this area will be shut off and a temporary water supply system will be installed for residents in the affected area. The temporary water supply lines will be chlorinated and tested prior to being put into service. This will be coordinated with OCWA and the water plant operators. Water pressure to the homes should not be affected. This temporary water supply system will be removed after the sewer repairs are completed.

Access to the area will be quite limited as the entire width of the roadway and ditches will be inaccessible. A temporary solution will be made available.

Residents are asked to divert their routes and plan their drives accordingly. We also ask residents to not remove any barricades and signs as this may pose a potential risk to the safety of drivers and residents.
