Job Location: Moose Factory, ON


Position Summary:

Under the general supervision of the Director of OPG, and under the Moose Cree First Nation (MCFN) & OPG Agreement within the Resource Protection Unit of Moose Cree First Nation, the MCFN OPG Partnership Liaison will work in collaboration with the OPG Environmental Department & Indigenous Relations Advisor to strengthen and develop the MCFN and OPG relationship. The MCFN OPG Partnership Liaison will support the implementation of the Amisk oo skow Agreement and its objectives.



  1. Post-Secondary education in Business, Communications, or Public Relations or related work experience in relevant field may be considered.
  2. Must have strong interpersonal skills with a willingness to engage with community both on and off reserve.
  3. Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision-making
  4. Excellent written and oral communication skills
  5. Must have first-hand knowledge of MCFN historical and cultural perspectives.
  6. Must have a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office software suite.
  7. Must be able to develop and deliver presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint
  8. Must have experience supporting First Nation businesses, employment, and training programs and/or procurement.
  9. Must demonstrate business relationship management skills.
  10. Must have a commitment to fostering the ongoing positive relationship-building between the parties.
  11. Must provide a satisfactory CPIC or proof of application.
  12. Valid class G driver’s license is required.


Salary: As per funding $88,003.50 – $111,481.50


Duration: Two (2) year term with possibility of permanent position
