Administrative Assistant (Health Services)

Job Location: Moose Factory, Ontario

 

Position Summary:

Under the general supervision of the Director of Health, the Administrative Assistant will perform general secretarial and clerical duties by ensuring efficient, smooth operation of the department; provide reception duties and ensure all individuals contacting the department are greeted in a polite, helpful, and courteous manner.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  1. Diploma in Office Administration/ or related experience in related field.
  2. Definite experience in minute taking or willing to receive training.
  3. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational sessions.
  4. Knowledge of office procedures, proven administrative and organizational skills.
  5. Type at the net rate of 40-60 wpm.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  7. Good interpersonal and ability to work within a team framework.
  8. Excellent skills in Microsoft office, Microsoft teams, Outlook.
  9. Ability to communicate in Cree is an asset.
  10. Must maintain confidentiality and work under minimum supervision.
  11. Must provide a satisfactory CPIC or proof of application.
  12. Must have a class G driver’s license.
  13. Copy of certificates/diplomas to be submitted with resume.

 

Salary: $42,978.00 – $57,739.50

Duration: Permanent with 3-months probation
