Information about Status Cards

Whether you're a Moose Cree First Nation member or belong to a different band, obtaining a new or updated status card is easy. You will need to bring a couple of documents with you, so read on to learn more.

Office Hours

Wednesdays and Fridays ONLY

8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Status cards are available on Wednesdays and Fridays only.

Required Documents

Two (2) Pieces of Identification

To avoid unnecessary delays, please bring two pieces of identification with you when you visit the status card office. Acceptable identification can include your drivers licence, health card, passport, birth certificate, or expired status card. Other I.D. may also be accepted. If you are unsure whether or not your identification is acceptable, please contact us.

Non Moose Cree First Nation Members:

If you are not a member of Moose Cree First Nation, you will have to contact your First Nation's band office. Inform them that you are renewing or replacing your status card and request that they fax your information over to the Moose Cree office.

Photo Requirements

We do not have many conditions, but here are a couple quick reminders:

- Headgear (hats, bandanas, etc.) are not permitted in photos.
- Dark sunglasses (unless prescription) are not permitted.

If you require any assistance, please contact our Membership Officer. Appointments are not necessary, and we welcome walk-ins. However, booking an appointment will ensure that you are seen on your selected date.
