Moose Cree Commercial Complex
Construction on the new Community Complex began in late 1989 and it was fully completed in March 1991. The square footage of the complex is 57,000 sq. feet. This community complex houses the Moose Cree First Nation, Moose Cree First Nation Day Care, Moose Band Development Corporation, Mushkegowuk Council (Finance and Graphics departments), Moose Factory Island District School Area Board, Northern Stores, The Bank of Montreal, Cree Craft Shop, The Gift Basket, Mooshom’s Gabesho-Inn, The Lighthouse Christian Bookstore, Gookum's Grill, MF Public Health Office, Moose Factory Cable Inc., and Canada Post Corp.
Thomas Cheechoo Jr. Memorial Complex
The Sports Centre is located on-reserve, next door to the Moose Cree Complex. It is owned by the Moose Cree First Nation and is operated by the Moose Factory Recreation Association. Various activities are held in the centre such as bingos, dances, bazaars, local or regional tournaments, and many other activities. Moose Factory hosts many activities such as Hockey, Broom ball, Ringette and Curling Club tournaments.

Cree Culture Interpretive Centre
The Moose Cree First Nation has established a culturally relevant tourist attraction on-Reserve. The Interpretive Center consists of indoor and outdoor exhibits. The indoor exhibits include of bone tools, traditional toys, furs etc. The outdoor exhibits comprise of traditional dwellings from the pre-European early contacts and contemporary nomadic dwellings. Each era is represented in three separate sections. The outdoor exhibits are located within a palisade.

As you may know Moose Cree First Nation is located on Moose Factory Island; however Moose Cree also has other points of interest within its tradtional territory such as lakes, creeks, river systems, camp sites, and widely known fishing spots. As time goes on with the rest of 2009, updation of this page will be diligent.
