Restructuring of the Housing program is in its early stages. All areas within the Housing program are under review with the goal and vision to provide a more efficient and effective program.
These areas include but are not limited to:
- Mission Statement
- Rental Arrears Collection
- Rental Agreements
- Maintenance Program
- Preventative Maintenance
- Inventory Control
- Storage
- Staffing
- Training/Workshops for Staff and Tenants
Presently, the revision of our Housing Policy has begun. The services of a consultant have been obtained and will work closely with the Director of Housing and the Housing Committee. It is hoped a fully revised Housing Policy will be completed by the end of March 2009.
More information will be made posted as it becomes available.
