Implementation Coordinator

Position Summary:
The Implementation Coordinator shall report and take direction from the Moose Cree Implementation Committee. He/she shall be responsible to develop, implement and manage strategies, plans and processes to encourage the meetings of commitments in the Impact Benefits Agreement (IBA) between De Beers Canada and Moose Cree First Nation (MCFN), thereby maximizing the economic benefits and strength of the relationship between the two parties and contributing to the attainment of Moose Cree economic development strategic goals. He/she will participate in the Senior Implementation Management Committee process thereby to fulfill their respective functions in the implementation of the De Beers Canada and Moose Cree First Nation (IBA).
Qualifications:
• Two year certificate from a college or technical school and at least six months to a year of related work experience, or some equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Well developed reasoning and problem solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work as a member of a team.
• Sensitive to the need for confidentiality in dealing with data and records.
• Familiarity with the Cree language and way of life.
• Willing to work long hours and some weekends.
• Ability to undertake multiple parallel tasks with minimal supervision.
• Readiness to work in a stressful work environment.
Duration: Term Position (possibly 3 to 12 months)
