POSITION SUMMARY
Under the general supervision of the Community Health Coordinator of the Moose Factory Health Centre, the Administrative/Program Assistant shall perform the following duties; ensure all records and filing systems are up to date; review incoming correspondence and reports and bring to the attention of his/her supervisor of urgent matters; compose routine letters; maintains a stock of educational material, medical supplies, stationary and office supplies; process mail; organizes and assist in the coordination of Health Centre Clinics; ensures all quarterly reports are submitted to funding agencies, assist in maintaining a running balance of programs under the Health Centre and performs other related duties.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Successful completion of Grade 12
- Prefer a minimum of two (2) years related work experience
- Knowledge of office procedures, proven administrative, financial and organizational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Possess strong interpersonal skills
- Must maintain confidentiality and able to work under minimum supervision
- Well-established computer knowledge and skills and a willingness to continue enhancing computer skills
- Ability to communicate in the Cree language is an asset
- Willing to work overtime when required
- Provide a C.P.I.C. with resume at applicant’s own expense
- Provide copy of certificates/diplomas to accompany resume
SALARY:
As per salary grid with good benefits
DURATION:
Permanent position with six month probationary period
