Commercial Complex
Construction on the new Community Complex began in late 1989 and it was fully completed in March 1991.
The square footage of the complex is 57,000 sq. feet. This community complex houses the Moose Cree First Nation,
Moose Cree First Nation Day Care, Moose Band Development Corporation, Mushkegowuk Council (Finance and Graphics
departments), Moose Factory Island District School Area Board, Northern Stores, The Bank of Montreal, Cree Craft Shop,
The Gift Basket, Mooshom’s Gabesho-Inn, The Lighthouse Christian Bookstore, Gookum's Grill, MF Public Health Office,
Moose Factory Cable Inc., and Canada Post Corp.
